Nogle misbrugere føler sig ligefrem opgivet.  Behandlerne har en mere positiv opfattelse af metadon og har mest fokus på at løse misbrugernes sociale problemer. Det viser en undersøgelse om heroinmisbrugere i Hovedstaden, som SFI har lavet.
